Abraham Jun Zou

Abraham Jun Zou, PhD, is an entrepreneurial engineering executive and the founder of Abraham Zou AI, focusing on hands-on applied ML and research-to-production for transformer-based models. He previously served as Vice President of Software Engineering and Senior Principal at Mastercard, where he pioneered AI initiatives in edge AI and LLM-powered agentic services and architected large-scale real-time payment systems. Prior to that, he was the founding CTO at Sunsea AIoT, where he launched an award-winning “device-edge-cloud” product suite, and a Technical Leader at Cisco Systems building greenfield IoT cloud platforms. Abraham holds a PhD in Electrical & Computer Engineering from McMaster University and is a co-inventor of a U.S. patent in event-driven systems.
