Born to overcome obstacles through integrating and leading people, Forrest Pascal looks to achieve health equity through Data, AI, and machine learning applications. Forrest is currently a Principal at Kaiser Permanente leveraging his over four decades of industry experience having seen the Information Technology field go from data processing to data science. Forrest brings’ a psychosocial historical technical perspective and approach to pragmatically address the most pressing concerns of industry leaders. He represents some of the best and brightest minds at Kaiser Permanente in their ongoing mission to provide highly accessible, high quality, low-cost healthcare to the communities they serve. Forrest has a Ph.D. in Biomedical Informatics specializing in Public Informatics from Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences. He has been teaching for five years in the Master of Health Administration degree program at Rutgers Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy.
